The idea of a planet of 7 billion people enforcing some kind of rigid homogeneity is absurd. Whilst us human beings are so closely related every one of us is magnificent and different in our own kind of entropic fashion. This kind of odious sentiment that homosexuality is in some way a disorder or unnatural belies such an ill-informed hyper-solipsism to be laughable. I think the most powerful thing we can tell young people is that they are not beholden to the feral pronouncements of those around them, they are not encapsulated in any way, shape or form by the idiocies of those who wish them harm. The only opinions you should ever care about are the opinions of those you care about. The morons screaming at you in public or the idiots at school calling you a ‘faggot’ offer you nothing. They’re pitiable - if they had a valid criticism of you they’d offer it. Though it may not feel it emotionally or even socially, if all they can say is you’re a faggot or a dyke - face it, you’ve won. If there’s something about your presence that upsets them but they have to redefine it in such a narrow fashion to your sexuality, then they’re honestly not worth listening to.

Let’s face it with 7 billion people on the planet there is something frankly absurd about insinuating that 10% of our fellow species are in some way defunct, defective or in any way broken. We live in a post-kinsey society that expresses quite clearly, sexuality is a continuum. Gender, too, is an equal continuum - our genes do not entirely define who we are - we are cognisant and cogent beings and as such have every right to define how we perceive ourselves in society. If you’ve been bullied, slandered, abused or even attacked over who you are, you’ve every right to feel awful, you’ve every right to feel cheapened and sacrified at the altar of society for some claim to social homogeneity. Every politician that says you can’t be with your partner is another bamboo shoot under your fingernails, another dilution of your claim to humanity.

Why are they so shrill, though? Why now are they wailing in such a fashion, in such an absurd manner, comparing their fellow humans to dogs?

They’re losing.

They’re fucking furious that they’re losing.

The marketplace of ideas has judged their pronouncements about the black and white nature of humanity and found them wanting. At every turn these absurd self-aggrandizing morons have thrown more and more idiotic bile on the backs of those who do not deserve it and yet it hasn’t stood up to scrutiny. We are coming soon, to a time, where their idiotic and ‘sociological’ pronouncements about homosexuality and sexuality in general in society will have as much social value as claims that black people are ‘intrinsically criminal’.

We’re on the cusp of the true explosion of the culture, character, behaviour and ultimate potential of mankind. No wonder those with minds so small they see diversity amongst one of the most beautiful things in the universe as a pure evil. We’re going to explore the entire universe, not just physically, but mentally. We’re going to be more creative, capable and beautiful than these cro-magnon inherently limiting thugs could ever imagine. We’re going to do that and more because of you. On the face of it these pronouncements upset us because they dehumanise us - challenge them, they want us to get angry they want us to legitimise their arguments because it gives them power. Laugh at them, meet their idiocies head on. There is nothing more demoralising than facing an orchestra of laughter. Do not just ignore them, pity them, undermine them and laugh at them. Only by treating these people with the contempt that they deserve can we create a society that can truly help us achieve our potential as a species. We were born to reach for the stars, don’t let a few idiots who find the idea of the universe terrifying get in your way.
